The Coventry Society is the Civic Voice of Coventry. Amongst its many aims is ' To preserve, and to promote understanding and appreciation of the built landscape, environmental heritage and history of Coventry. Alongside its advertised activities, there are many interesting articles for you to delve into.

The Midland Air Museum is close by near Baginton, and has many interesting exhibits which hopefully you will be able to visit before too long. In the meantime, you can explore the site and get a taste of what is on offer. A must for all aviation enthusiasts!

London Road Cemetery

The Friends of London Road Cemetery is a group which exists to further our understanding of this historic cemetery. Designed by Sir Joseph Paxton, the cemetery is the last resting place of many prominent local people. There are also many fine specimen trees in the arboretum. The Friends group are regularly involved with tidy up sessions and talks, and there are organised walks throughout the summer.

The Friends of the War Memorial Park, Coventry, was established in 2006.  The group was formed to help promote, develop and maintain the War Memorial Park, in order to enhance its value to the community. 2021 is the centenary of the opening of the park. 

The perfect place to delve into Coventry’s history and engage with art and culture.

The mission of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust is to bring people closer to nature and create a land rich in wildlife. Some of the Trust's reserves have now re-opened, but check with the site for up to date information before visiting.

This wonderful site has many treasures! It was created by Rob Orland in 2002 and continues to grow reflecting the interests of Coventrians. There are many history topics, memories and nostalgia. Also there is a fascinating forum of all things Coventry!

This is the site for the Historic Coventry Trust. It was launched in 2015 (previously known as Coventry Charterhouse Preservation Trust) and was formed to acquire, restore and reuse Coventry’s heritage buildings, preserving them for future generations. Read all about the planned projects on this interesting site, including the Charterhouse, London Road Cemetery, and the concert programme for the newly refurbished Drapers' Hall.

Brandon Wood is just 6km east of Coventry. Since 1981 it has been maintained and improved by voluntary workers from the Friends of Brandon Wood. Greyfriars members have enjoyed several 'bluebell' walks here. Find out more about this ancient woodland at this site.
